Interior Lighting
Interior & Kitchen Lighting in Calgary
Lighting is the cheapest way to change how a room feels, and the easiest thing to get wrong. Too few pot lights and you get shadows; too many and you get an operating theatre. We do the layout before we cut a single hole.

Who it’s for
Homeowners tired of a single builder-grade fixture in the middle of the room. Kitchens being renovated. Anyone who has just had popcorn ceilings scraped and realised the lighting was the problem all along. Basements being developed, where the lighting plan is usually an afterthought and shouldn’t be.

What to expect
-
We plan the layout.
Spacing, beam angle and colour temperature, worked out against the room rather than a rule of thumb.
-
We tell you what the ceiling allows.
Attic insulation, joist direction and what’s already up there decide what’s practical. Fixtures in insulated ceilings must be rated for insulation contact, and we use ones that are.
-
We quote it fixed, including any drywall patching.
-
We install and clean up.
Cutting into ceilings makes dust; we contain it and we take it with us.
LIGHTING DONE RIGHT. ROOMS THAT FEEL RIGHT.
Questions we get asked
How many pot lights does a room need?
Fewer than most people think, placed better than most people place them. It depends on ceiling height, room size and what the room is for. A kitchen wants even task light; a living room wants layers.
Will you have to cut open my ceiling?
Usually only the fixture holes. We fish wiring through existing cavities where we can. If a run genuinely can’t be fished, we’ll tell you before we start rather than after.
Why do my LED lights flicker or buzz on a dimmer?
Almost always dimmer and driver incompatibility. Not every dimmer works with every LED, and older dimmers designed for incandescent bulbs usually don’t. It’s a fixable problem.
Can you do vaulted or high ceilings?
Yes, including fixture replacement where you’d need scaffolding.
YOUR HOME. OUR PRIORITY.
