Electrical work in Evergreen
Evergreen is our SouthWest coverage, and one of the larger communities in that part of the city. It was built through the 1990s and 2000s, which puts much of the housing stock in the same bracket as Tuscany — old enough that the original service is worth examining, new enough that the wiring itself is rarely the issue.
What we see most here:
- 100-amp services meeting modern loads, particularly where a basement has been finished
- Basement development, which in a community of this age is often the second round rather than the first
- EV charging, and the capacity question that comes with it
- Builder-grade lighting reaching the point where owners want it replaced rather than repaired
- Exterior lighting and outlets on properties backing onto green space, where useful light matters more than it does mid-block
Being straight about drive times
We’re based in the North of the city. Evergreen is the furthest community from us that we cover as a named service area, and pretending otherwise would be dishonest. For planned work — a panel upgrade, a charger, a basement rough-in — that makes no practical difference. We schedule it, we arrive when we said we would, and the drive is our problem rather than yours. For a middle-of-the-night emergency, we will be slower to Evergreen than to Coventry Hills. We’ll tell you a realistic time when you call. If someone closer can get to you sooner and it’s genuinely urgent, we’ll say that too. We would rather be honest about a drive time than lose your trust in the first ten minutes of a relationship.
