Nine years on Calgary’s tools
Maple Electrical Services Ltd. started in July 2017, and the reason was simple enough. Dal had spent years working for other people and kept running into the same thing: customers who’d been sold work they didn’t need, or who’d waited all afternoon for someone who never turned up.
Nine years later we’re still a family-run business, and we’ve kept it deliberately small. We’d rather do a smaller number of jobs properly than a larger number quickly.

Dal owns the business, and he’s still on the tools most days. When you call, there’s a good chance you’ll speak to him — and a good chance he’s the one who turns up.
That’s not a slogan. It’s the reason our customers tend to mention people by name when they leave a review, and it’s why we’ve never had to advertise much.
Behind him is a crew of licensed electricians who work the same way. We don’t list them individually here — people come and go, and a page that goes stale isn’t worth much to you. What matters is the standard everyone works to, and that doesn’t change.
How we work
Every technician who comes to your door is licensed, uniformed, badged, background-checked and drug-tested.
That’s a longer list than most contractors publish, and it’s there for one reason: you’re deciding whether to let a stranger into your home, sometimes at two in the morning. You should know exactly who’s arriving.
We also hold an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, and have been an accredited business since April 2021.

We work across Calgary, and we’re based off Coverdale Place in the North of the city — which is usually where we can get on site fastest.
